After opening the tent from the box, I was glad to see that it didn't come with a bunch of parts. It's literally a bag. Tent. small bag of piles. I also liked that the (very simple) instructions were sewn into the inside of the carrying bag! I wanted to see how "easy" this tent popped up, since it's a lot of money to purchase such an expensive beach tent. Of course, it rises in just 60 seconds! It's like an upside down umbrella. Just pull the strings and everything will fall into place. NO ROD TO WORRY! All you have to do is snap off the two legs that are already attached and you're done! My toddler crawled in and was very happy. We're taking him to the beach tomorrow and I can post an update when he gets used to the elements. Losing weight was just as easy. Just press the two parts, which have handy yellow labels attached, and everything zips closed. I'm also happy to say that this is the ONLY product I've ever had that IS RETURNED IN THE BAG! Yeaaaa! Most products come with carrying cases and we all know that we will never be able to bend them to put them in a bag again. Not so with this tent. It folds easily and you gather all the fabric into a ball and tie it with the tie provided. It fits right into your tent bag with little headroom and zips closed. The size is quite large, just what I was hoping for. The front chairs fit 4 adults next to each other or 2-3 adults pushed a little further back. It can comfortably accommodate 5 children. I love that this is a family run business and they appreciate your comments. Will post an update after I've used it for a bit.
