Review on 🌡️ AcuRite Multicolor Digital Instant Read Thermometer, Folding Probe, 5" Length, 3.3 by Laura Arnett

I bought this because it uses a AAA battery instead of a coin. It takes about 10 seconds to reach temperature. It has the neat feature of beeping as it approaches final temperature (the electronics predict this by slowing the temperature rise). Cons: there is an on/off trigger switch; I have to be careful not to hit the switch when I put it on the shelf; Putting it in your pocket will turn it on and drain the battery. The battery compartment has no seal, so be careful when washing.
