Review on Microsoft 2XJ 00001 Bluetooth Keyboard 6000 by Petar Keremidchiev ᠌

It's not quite what I expected, overall it's ok.

A minimalistic inexpensive BT full-size keyboard with serious flaws that make it impossible to recommend it for purchase. Some pros: 1. Quiet key travel 2. Minimalistic design 3. PC connection quality Cons below: 1. Key layout. The rows follow each other with a symmetrical half-button shift. This is far from a standard placement, the shift should be asymmetrical and, personally, I still have problems with blind typing. For the sake of aesthetics, they sacrificed ergonomics, which is unacceptable for a device whose main function is typing. 2. The logic of working with function buttons is broken. Keyboard shortcuts cannot be used if the F-button row is in Fn mode. You, for example, do not close the window with the Alt + F4 combination - the media player will be called. You must first disable Fn, then only use combinations. It was necessary to change the volume from the shortcut buttons - reconnect Fn and use it. This behavior is very annoying, especially when on all other keyboards (external and internal) the functionality of hotkeys and shortcuts coexist peacefully. 3. Additional buttons. I can understand having a button calls emojis and symbols. But the presence of the Office button is not perceived by me in any other way than the physical embodiment of spam. Clicking on it sends you to the office purchase site with a pop-up banner "Try our best browser as well. I understand that the office user opens his space, but forcing all users to contemplate this on the keyboard is low, especially if you take into account that this button cannot be reassigned programmatically through the utility. A quick call to the calculator also raises questions. 4. There is no standard software "out of the box", such as Logitech with its Options. You have to download Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center, an app that MS gave up on a long time ago, with a Modern Design interface that's premium with Windows8. The functionality of the utility is very limited. 5. Lack of indication for Caps Lock
