I just bought this backpack and I want to share my first impressions. Overall I like the package, but there are a few caveats. In general, it is quite comparable to the Ogio Mach 5 backpack. The quality seems to be good so far. The zippers are strong. Sew well on my bag. The materials feel very similar to the Mach 5. I love that it has a screen holder that can be removed with velcro when not needed. On my Mach 5 I had to cut it out as I never used it and it just affected my ability to fit larger things into the case. Overall I am very happy with the purchase, with one exception. You need to make the straps longer. I'm 6ft 2" and about 240. I'm wearing an XXL riding jacket. Although I can usually use a backpack without a riding jacket, when I put it on, even with the straps at the limit of my possibilities, it is very tight and constricts me. a little. So I'll probably take the backpack to a tailor and see if I can lengthen the straps a bit. I also had what appeared to be a helmet holder in my pocket. It's a piece of nylon and some clips that appear to match the clips on the backpack BUT when I try to attach them to the backpack they are not positioned to attach. At first it looked like a small rainfly, but that approach didn't work either. It also has a zipper to expand a little, but it's not very comfortable. I can fit a 15 inch laptop and a tablet in the inner pocket. The problem is that when I do that, they sit high on my back. I wish the pockets were deeper so the heavier load is in the lower back and not the middle. The bottom of the back panel fits the bottom snugly, but I can feel where the laptop ends. If I had to use it for a 5 day trip they would be a lot more problematic but for my intended purpose of short day trips it's great. It can also be influenced by driving style. I have a sport bike and an ADV bike. It's more tiring for me on my sport bike because I lean more towards the handlebars and feel a little more pressure. I found that packing stuff under the laptop at the bottom of the bag helped spread the load a bit better. He hardly notices it on my ADV bike. Aesthetically it is very appealing. One of the few bags, my wife said, looked amazing the moment I took it out of the box and her first reaction was to keep it and ditch my other backpacks. I didn't get a "this thing is gross" comment or worse. So if you want a good backpack for your bike that doesn't break the bank full of features, this is a great option. Definitely helps if you are not tall or have a tight riding jacket.
