Review on ๐ŸŽพ Premium 6-Player Croquet Set: Deluxe Wooden Mallets, Colorful Balls, & Durable Carrying Bag - Classic Outdoor Yard Game by Crown Sporting Goods by Adam Gechem

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Poorly. And I know croquet.

I've been playing garden croquet for 50 years. My old gear was in pretty bad shape and I knew once self-isolation started we had to do something to pass the time. I ordered 5 sets a month ago and sent them to families across the country and bought literally every set Revain had. So I spent an extra four bucks on them or something because they were the closest thing to Revain. There are no other reviews yet. Anyway, I know how to play this game. My turf is in decent condition, we don't break the ball and I promise we won't abuse technique. Think about it - if we screw up this stuff, there's little we can do but watch TV until it's over. In our 10th game my ball started to crack. I kept using it and during the 12th game it literally broke in half. Assuming it's just one thing, I chose a different ball. It just started cracking today during the 5th game I've used it. I promise I won't do anything the average person wouldn't do. The white caps on the ends of each hammer cracked a lot too, but who cares, we're just trying to get out and have some fun. But it's important for everyone to realize that this game cannot be played without the ball. Yes I will use a tennis ball if needed but this set right out of the box is junk. Good luck if you try to go this route. I was expecting the review page to have a link to download the image. When I find out, I will find out. I'm pretty sure this is the first review I've ever written on Revain and I've been getting 2 deliveries a week for at least 5 years.
