This little hot grip holder is exactly what I wanted. It glides smoothly over the handle and prevents you from burning yourself. You don't have to wear a mitten, which is annoying for people with big hands. Since I cook breakfast for my wife almost every morning and have a 6" Lodge iron skillet, this is perfect. I've only had it for two days, but it's exactly what I need. I never knew they existed until I saw a cooking program where food was served in iron pans and a silicone pan was placed on the handle to serve the food. A little research and I found one. Do not hold it by the handle when cooking or in the oven. It has a small strap that you can use to hang it up.
