In this review I will compare this radio to similar radios • Large, easy to read dial • Has a headphone jack • Uses 4 AA batteries or the included power cord • Has a carrying handle • Has a red tuning indicator (lights up when you've tuned into a station correctly) GOOD • Good reception, stations easy to find and clean • Good selectivity (ability to separate weak stations) • Nice simple knobs, they're big, different and simple to use, other radios can be awkward to use. • Plays loud enough to listen in the shower • Doesn't have a brick (AC adapter), just a standard cord BAD • Fixed cord plugs into side of radio and adds another 2.5 inches • No cord storage, so it will Droop if you just want a little length • The sound is mediocre, a little muted. This radio has less treble than most radios. • Since most people will probably use this type of radio for talk stations, I think the high frequencies are good.
