I specially bought a 32 inch monitor for my mother. She needs glasses and the big screen size is a big plus for her. looks sharp, is very dim even at max brightness, menus are pretty useless and speakers are terrible. my brother uses it for homework now and then, the printer is right next to it so we use it as a print center, but if you use your computer for gaming, watching movies, serious work or anything else, just very occasional use, go for it not that one. The price is pretty bad too. You can even get a 40 inch 4k TV for the price and it might even be better than that for use as a monitor. So TLDR: This is a very poor monitor that might be ok if you want a bigger screen monitor for your parents.
