Everything hangs on the dash like an absolute champ. and that's really all there is to it. It looks very nice with two tone chrome and black. until you take a quick trip with your phone gone and the sun reflecting off the chrome right into your eyes. Depending on your location, you might have to keep your phone in this thing at all times to prevent this, which can be really frustrating when I only drive a few blocks to the grocery store, so I don't think about it. The idea that you can just put the phone on and off the holder is because the flaps that hold it in place are flexible, which is actually a bit of a downside if you have a larger phone or one thicker phone case like this one like otterbox use me. I can slip my phone through the valves with my pinky, which worries me because it can hold my phone in place on a bumpy road or steep hill. If you have a small to medium sized phone and don't want to use a thick case AND don't have to worry about potholes or steep hills then this is a really decent product. Some improvements I would suggest would be making it completely black or non-reflective. Second, make the bottom feet adjustable in how high or low they hold the phone, allowing a taller phone to be held closer to the center. Finally, use a slightly thicker flexible flap that requires actual intent to remove the phone from the clips, or opt for a variant that requires the clip to release the phone before it can be removed.
