These are good containers but the lids don't close flush, totally secure. When you put the lids on and press the tabs (to close them tightly), the "rubber seals" don't snap and gaps remain. If you press harder or try to move the seal, the tabs will open again. We also use these containers when we need to cover them with foil instead of lids. If you hold the container in front of you and look at the lid, you will see that the lids are not "straight"; sometimes they go up and down. The manufacturer should have carried out a quality control, but apparently didn't do it. We had to buy the Rubbermaids that were recommended to us. If you're that close, consider yourself lucky. You're having a "good party".
