Let me start by saying that I bought a 103 foot cable and two years later I still have more than half of it. I have it lowered into the wire rod ventilation shaft; It doesn't stick, it snaps plastic ties easily, it routes wires between channels, welds them back together with a simple torch, and gets back to work. I used it to make a fire; The fibers are dense, waxed and, in a pinch, provide a great soldering source for closing threads, cutting fabric and other places I need a little extra heat, especially when paired with a cord for closing. Copper wire is fairly durable; It has a flexible stiffness and offers a little more strength for easier use at work. Long and short, this is definitely one of the best ropes I currently have. I never expected to use it in some of the ways above, but it has proven to be so incredibly useful, both in a pinch and in everyday use, and I think it's worth looking for something other than the standard Paracord type to look for 550. Tough cord cannot be compared. Limitless is very close, but lacks some of the qualities that this cable has. Yes, it's a bit thicker than other ropes, but that's not a problem. look no further. I suspect the Kevlar impregnated materials these people are offering are also top notch and I will be buying them next time.
