Review on Pearl Izumi Softshell Glove XX Large by Jeff Apel

I have worn these gloves on many trips in 25-40 degree weather and my fingers have not gone numb. I can easily go out 2+ hours on windy days in 30 degrees. I also ran 3.5 hours in 37 degrees with no problems. I bought a large size and there is room inside for thinly lined gloves for when it gets even colder. They close tightly on the wrist and keep the wind out, and they are also comfortable to wear. The only downer is that the Velcro straps on the wrist are very difficult to open when closed. The two Velcro straps are the same size and there is nothing to grab to separate them. They can be difficult to open with bare hands, very good with gloves, there must be something to grab. I would only recommend them for cold weather riding in dry conditions as I haven't tried them in wet weather.
