Top up, rear windows open, doors open. It rained yesterday, strong wind. There was no water at the back. There were a few water stains on the top, but nothing to worry about. I recommend it for the price and ease of installation. I never take my top off. I will update this review if it rains with the doors open and the lid closed. but when I cover it, I always have a canopy, it's also easier for me to install it that way. Really great case. and also! I was able to fold it up and put it back in my pocket. That never happens lol
