Well I've been trying to attach a video of this relay causing my starter motor to engage even after the kill switch has been turned off and the key removed to the point where He fried my battery and caused battery acid vapor. whistle out of him like acid geyser, but he won't publish. Probably for the best since you can surely guess I cursed. While this relay clearly states that it fits a 2006 Suzuki Boulevard (C90 1500), it actually doesn't, which should have been my first clue, but I thought it was just a slightly different shape. The harness connector, battery and starter cables all fit as they should, so I had faith that the seller actually sent me a relay made for my bike as advertised. After slightly modifying the bracket to accommodate the extra 1/4 inch required for this relay, I finished the installation, reassembled my bike and slept some for work this morning. Everything seems normal in the morning. until I press the start button. At first it was a single loud rattle of the starter so I tried again and got the starter to spin for a few seconds so I let go of it. The only thing is the starter kept turning on like I was still randomly pressing the button so I flipped the switch. the starter still runs and freaks out. At this point, the battery begins to emit electrolyte fumes into the closed garage, so I pull the key out of the ignition. Still whistling and hovering when the starter engages. At this point I'm going insane as a cloud of battery acid fills my garage with an even louder squeal from my battery, so I jump down to open the door and pop it out in case of an explosion. This went on until I disconnected the battery cable. Now I have to swap the battery, determine what else has blown, and wipe the battery acid out of everything in my garage because of this relay as that was the only thing that got done with the bike.
