When I adopted an Eclectus parrot who had been through a horrible past, he wouldn't take the toys I offered her. Then I showed her the Super Crush Ball. Now I need to make sure I have a few at the In Your Flock Parrot Magazine headquarters so she has a steady supply of them. She LOVES these things. They come in a larger size, which would be appropriate for a 'big' bird like the Ekki, but he still has some anxiety issues. This 3 inch size has just the right bits and toys inside and isn't overly impressive when hanging in her day cage. I recommend one of these "little" shredders for shy parrots to introduce them to the amazing ability of shredding crap out of toys for more crushable stuff.
