For the first few days of using Underarmed I thought it worked well. Then, by the end of the week, I started smelling awful. I contacted the owner and he explained that the detoxification process involved in removing the aluminum can initially lead to an increase in body odor. I've been using aluminum-based antiperspirants since they were invented, so I've been a tough detox contender. The smell was terrible. He even woke me up in the middle of the night! The owner recommended putting apple cider vinegar under my hands to change the pH and told me to be patient as my body gets used to cutting out aluminum. He said it could be 3 weeks or more. I was determined to go through with it and I'm really glad I did. After three weeks the smell was suddenly gone and now the deodorant works great! I love all natural ingredients and the lavender scent. As a beekeeper, I love that it contains organic raw honey and chemical-free beeswax. All ingredients are pure and designed to get rid of the bacteria that feed on underarm sweat. I love this product and the customer service is great. I just ordered more Underarmed and plan to use it from now on.
