Review on Airhawk - R-REVB Large Motorcycle Seat Cushion for Comfortable Travel - Optimized for Improved Comfort and Size by Keith Montague

Extension in the saddle!

This is the best I've found other than the new seat. Some "hardcore" riders will say it's just a matter of getting used to the pain/numbness, but I'm not more young, so the bones don't last either. I'm not ready to pull the trigger for a new saddle so I've tried several options including expensive gel pads and this is the only product that has given me more time to ride. As a bonus, it eased the pain I felt after an hour and a half without it. You need to find the sweet spot for your comfort level. That means you start with full air and then gradually decrease it until you find what works best for you. This may take a few tries as you should not be sitting on the Airhawk when deflating. You can twist the valve, inflate it yourself, and then close it. Pumps and compressors are not required. I let the air out for about half a second when it was full and found my preferred air level. It's not magic, so you'll still feel that numbness after a while, but it's the best option I've found other than getting a new seat. I can drive just under three hours before I break down, which is about twice as much as with inferior products. I was not paid nor allowed to try the Airhawk before or after writing this review. I paid full price and had it delivered while on vacation before driving 500 miles home.
