My grandchildren (2,3) have so many toys. It was the perfect gift because both can play with it and also take it to the park and share it with a friend. If you live in an apartment it's still great because you can set the trajectory. It's ready to use right out of the box and even a 2 year old loves it. It can only get better as they get older. It will be a great toy for birthday parties, two would be even better. I think they could offer more rockets sold separately in case they fly over a fence or get stuck in a tree!
