This is a great deal if your primary use is document printing. My Canon printer recognized the cartridges with no problems. While I had no problem with color ink spilling on my hand, the large black cartridge spilled on my hand. I now wear gloves when changing cartridges. However, this is only a minor downside given the price. I bought them knowing that I would be printing many documents over the next few months. Used for this purpose I give this product 5 stars. I give this product 2 stars for photo printing, mainly because of the price. "You get what you pay for" remains a true statement in this case. Going back to printing photos instead of documents, I bite the bullet and buy Canon's incredibly expensive inks, which produce colors that appear on a calibrated monitor using ICC profiles. Still, this is good ink at a real price. for printing documents. Overall 4 stars.
