This was a delightful addition to my pet rat's home. I have a 3 tier wire cage that houses 3 female rats and the cage is lined with all sorts of toys as well as a plastic dome for sleeping. I have only ever kept 2 rats at a time but recently added a third rat. my family and needed a different type of 'house' to sleep in as only 2 rats fit comfortably in the plastic dome house. I've also found that they like to have more than one place to cuddle together. Hanging at the top, this tent is quite roomy for pet rats, even 3 rats. They love the feel of a hanging tent and are more likely to sleep in a tent than a plastic dome. The tent is very soft and big enough for a ferret or guinea pig (depending on the size of your pet). However, I can tell you that my pet rats really liked it. However, as is often the case with rats, they chewed the fabric of the tent a bit, but the tent is well made and still hangs securely. The rats chewed on the inside of the tent which has extra fluffy bedding and they chewed on it to make it even fluffier I think because the tent is still safe to sleep in. However, I inspect them constantly, since everyone deals with toys given to a pet. All in all this is a quality fabric tent for your small pet and I would highly recommend this product!
