We bought a humidifier for our 4 month old son hoping it would help him breathe (he started gagging at night). Unfortunately it didn't work for that. It was very quiet, produced a surprisingly cool vapor, and lasted as long as advertised, which was impressive. Our only real complaints as new parents were the brightness of the switch on light which lit the room with a bluish light (we keep our room completely black to help baby sleep) and when it went out it beeped loudly waking the baby up . Otherwise, it's fine for normal day use.
