They were pretty easy to put on at first but that's about the only good thing I can say about them. The adjustment knob on the mirror itself was so tight that I had to use pliers to loosen it. After that they seemed fine, well, as long as you're not driving your truck. They were in a good mood, but I could live with that. The problem started as soon as I accelerated onto the freeway and the problem was the one I had on the driver's side flew off at 70mph and made a small dent in my bed. I know what you're thinking, they just weren't tight, well they were very tight, so tight they almost crushed my mirror housing and I know what I do, I've been a professional collision specialist for over 30 years. Years. I know how to tighten screws. They looked like they might work, but they don't. DO NOT spend money on it, you will regret it. If I could give a negative review I would.
