I love this brand, took a star off only because they seem to have gotten shorter after washing. The fit around the stomach is good, I'd say comfortable for a small child considering they have a high waist so they don't cut into toddlers' tummy when sitting. My problem was that they fit on his lap after almost a wash. You can still use them, but not as pants like I assumed when I bought them. They are very breathable, they stretch and are very soft against the skin, if they kept their length after washing, or even better if they were longer they would be a perfect purchase. Olivia: **This will take a few months given the stretch around the waist, but only if the inseam is longer, please use the longer inseam**
