TATTU FPV LiPo Battery 1300mAh 22.2V 6S 75C: A Mixed Bag

When it comes to powering your mini quad racing drone, the TATTU FPV LiPo Battery seems like a promising option with its high capacity and discharge rate. However, after testing it out on a few different models, I found myself disappointed with some aspects of its performance. First and foremost, the battery's weight is noticeably heavier than others in its class, which can affect flight time and overall agility of the drone. Additionally, I noticed that the pack tends to get quite warm during use, which is concerning for its lifespan and safety. On a positive note, the XT60 plug is well-designed and secure, ensuring a strong connection during use. And in terms of power delivery, the battery does seem to offer a noticeable boost in performance compared to lower quality options. Overall, I would rate the TATTU FPV LiPo Battery 1300mAh 22.2V 6S 75C with a 3 out of 5 stars. While it may offer decent power delivery, the issues with weight and heat make it less than ideal for serious racers or frequent use.

Pros
  • Tattu! I mean GensAce De plane de plane! Works great with this battery!
Cons
  • The TATTU FPV LiPo Battery's high discharge rate of 75C may be too powerful for some pilot's preferences, leading to decreased control and difficulty maneuvering their racing drone
