Review on DALSTRONG Slicing Carving Knife AUS 10V by Anthony Hopkins

Dahlstrong should invest more money and time in quality control of the knife itself than in the packaging! After reading all the great reviews from happy customers, I decided to give it a try. Taking the knife out of its beautiful packaging and sheath was pure disappointment. The first thing that struck me was the poor quality of what they call "Damascus". The finish is more like aluminized steel. There is no damask pattern running the full length of the knife. The second problem is that if you hold it up and look down the spine you can see a VERY noticeable curve to the right along the entire length of the blade. The best thing about my Dalstrong purchase was the beautiful packaging, but I didn't buy this knife for the packaging. Dalstrong, I would like to hear the answer to these questions, maybe your customer service is better than your products? With that said, you might be better off spending a few extra dollars and buying a reputable branded knife that has a 100% perfect fit and finish when you buy it. Attention buyers!
