Dogs stay away from new furniture

Our titled gold doodles are used to lounging on our couches and couches, and we actually allowed it. When we got our new furniture we decided we really didn't want dogs on the new couch and couch, so we bought a set of these Tattle Tale alarm clocks and decided to give it a try. I'm not really a fan of gimmicks and had low expectations. I'm telling you they work. You simply insert a battery into each of the blocks, set the sensitivity (low or high) and place them on the furniture. If the dog jumps on the furniture cushions, the alarm (sounds like a less intense smoke alarm) will sound for about three seconds. Dogs don't want anything to do with new furniture. If anyone wants to sit, simply turn off the device and set it aside. My guess is that once dogs are well trained to avoid these alarms, they will stay away from furniture and stop using the alarms.

Pros
  • Sturdy workmanship
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
