Guys, this camera is old technology. If you just want the ribbon feature, great! The USB driver is not compatible with Windows Vista or 7. Sony does not have updated drivers to install to fix this issue. You cannot download movies to your computer. The USB streaming function does not work with the new operating system. You either have to add Firewire, which increases your costs. Or just plug in a DVD burner to transfer. Also, the memory stick is no longer manufactured and is outdated. If you use a stick adapter it works 50% of the time. Do not exceed 1GB. Recording on a Memory Stick causes intermittent playback. Useless for quality recordings. Use only for low quality photography. you will not be happy Sony support is not very helpful in this matter. They couldn't help. Hope that helps. More reviews on this topic on other sites. Not many happy customers.
