The glass surface is a durable, easy-to-clean surface that performs much better than a regular whiteboard. However, not all markers work well on this surface. Some cheaper markers that stand out on a traditional whiteboard feel "soft" on the glass surface. That being said, a good black dry erase marker works great and is a lot easier to erase from this board. This thick powder coated frame sits freely on my desk and has enough weight not to move during use. Due to the weight, this is not a portable option. You want to put it down and leave it! It takes up a lot of space so works best on large tables/desks where people work together. Think about the options if you want to sit while using the board. Now you can work together without getting up!
