I was expecting it to be very runny (like the cheap one I bought at the dollar store once and ended up throwing away). Capsules are sealed and require good scissors to open; Which I will say is a plus because the last thing you want is for something to leak or for kids to open them if they accidentally get at it. I didn't read the instructions properly and instead of one capsule I poured 2 glasses next time). I ended up with a very thick gel, but it ran easily into the toilet and covered the surface well. I left it on for about 10 minutes and when I cleaned the toilet it looked clean/white. We have hard water so scale builds up around the water area and I don't think it helped much for that. It's a very thin line, but it's still there, so I'm not sure if it should run a little longer or just too much to notice it worked. The scent is pleasant without being overpowering unless you are in a very small room. (I still have the fan on). I haven't tried it on anything else, but I'll try it with a tub next time just to see what it does. I definitely get more than that, I think I can handle a bathroom wash without those horrible fumes (I used vinegar and baking soda but it's not enough).
