This is the first time I've definitely run this drive outside. Runs at 82-84C under load (in my house before it hits my super cold data center) - faster than any single hard drive I've owned and I'd call it near silent. I've read people saying it's the "LOUDEST DRIVE". --- b*$% liar! The sound is almost non-existent WITHOUT a housing. Very impressive. When something is running quietly, smoothly and quickly. it just looks future proof. Only time can tell. In a few days I ran a hard drive with a capacity of more than 10 TB. Much more could have been done. much rested. From one computer scientist to another. it seems to me that this disk likes to work. Again, only time will tell.
