Based on other people's reviews I bought the LG thinking it would fit a size larger. Well, it just suited me, so I knew my dad would find it too tight. So I ordered the same in a size XL and although it's roomier I'd say it actually fits like a large and both tend to end up in the crotch. I've bought my dad dozens of lounge pants (god, how things change—he's never been caught without a suit!), so I feel like saying they're cropped at the crotch means something. I haven't washed them yet, but as one reviewer said, they retain a nice appearance if treated with care and not over dried. Obviously, for reasons of shrinkage, I don't want to plant them in the dryer until they're completely dry.
