I switched to Frog Tape (the blue thing never worked properly) and convinced a lot of friends/family to switch too. Lately, however, something seems to have changed at Frog Tape. I noticed that the packaging now says something like "improved locking technology" or something - well, that seems to have made things worse! Now, if you let the paint dry, the tape tends to pull clumps of the new paint off with it, sometimes leaving ugly lines. If you read the instructions it says to remove the tape before the paint dries, but how do you do that when you have to apply 2 coats? I will not apply twice and use twice as much tape! So right now I'm less of a Frog Tape fanatic. It still plays better than other cassettes, but my enthusiasm for it has definitely faded.
