I have two of these and this is the first time I've tried installing something like this. a few steps. The downside is that without Wolfen you can't remap the L3/R3 buttons and pads, otherwise everything is the same. No additional equipment was required either. the box had everything you need (except for the ofc controller). How-to YouTube videos are hard to understand if you've never done it before. It's a little confusing when skipping solder parts (but the video will tell you when to skip). Just follow the instructions carefully and it's perfectly doable. HOW LONG DID IT TAKE? Installing my first controller took about an hour. The second controller takes about 20 minutes, because once you do it, everything becomes very easy. HOW ARE THE KEYS MAPPED? Once everything is done, assigning the buttons becomes a breeze. Simply press and hold the back button for 3 seconds, release, then press and hold the K button (the new buttons will be called K1 and K2) and the controller button you want to map (e.g. X or R1), release it and then press the back button for another 5 seconds, and everything is as simple as that. THIS IS GOOD? It feels just as good as the controller itself, I didn't notice any lag or anything. It works great and as expected. I also like the sound the pads make when you press them.
