This cable meets all quality requirements. Arrived in a nice light box. It includes protective covers for gold-plated connectors. It has a very smooth and durable braid. The connecting handles have a nice brushed aluminum feel and they don't have a locking mechanism either (which I like). If there was a minus, then this cable is really very thick. I've never had a displayport cable before, so I don't know if that kind of thickness is normal or not. For those wondering if this cable is actually backwards compatible, it is. I have Displayport version 1.2 on my LG gaming monitor. I had no problems, Run games at 1440p at 144Hz. I was even able to overclock my monitor to 165Hz and the cable passed the signal with no problem. I'm very happy with the result and would definitely recommend it to anyone who has a high refresh rate on their PC.
