We've been big fans of Halo sleeping bags and other items ever since the hospital sent us home with our first child in a newborn sleeping bag. We loved it and were happy to find someone to give us a size larger as she started to outgrow the NB size. When it started to get cozy she was about 9 months old and just learning to crawl and stand. Enter the Walker sleeping bag. She loved it after only a few nights and seems like she can move as needed and the little leg holes are so cute. She is 9 months old, weighs 16 pounds and is about 2 feet tall. I ordered medium and it was a good choice. She's a big one, but she has room to grow, and that's what I want. It should be longer than you and give you the feel of a blanket with no loose ends to worry about choking.
