Excellent monitor stand. I use it as a stand for a 2017 iMac with built in VESA mount. It's very light but sturdy and unlike another stand I bought for this purpose (STAND-V001H) it actually supports the weight of an iMac. Even though the iMac is heavier than a monitor of the same size, the mount doesn't slide down. If you intend to use it with an iMac, the silver finish suits it perfectly. If you want to use an older iMac with a detachable stand (the standard 2017 model with a detachable stand is NOT detachable) or an Apple Cinema Display, you don't need to purchase a separate VESA kit for it. The stand includes everything you need to remove and attach to the factory stand. My only gripe with this is that there aren't any stops to keep it perfectly horizontal or vertical, but I don't have a VESA mount that does this yet and I've had quite a few, so I don't blame it for having it I didn't wear it. On the other hand, it's tough enough not to accidentally throw it over the horizon.
