I recently replaced the rear brake pads on my 2013 Subaru Forester and decided it was time to bleed the brake fluid as well. This adapter worked great on the brake fluid reservoir. As some others have pointed out, there is a "spare" o-ring in the box. It's not actually a replacement part, but its cross-section is slightly smaller than the O-ring that fits on the adapter. After I changed the o-rings, it still took quite a bit of force to lock the cap in place, but it worked like a charm with no leaks.
