Review on πŸ“Ά SureCall FlareDB+ Cell Phone Signal Booster: Enhance Home Work Efficiency with Stronger Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile Signals - Easy Install Indoor Antenna - Covers 3500 sq ft - White SC-FlareDB by Lance Harrison

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works fantastic! However, it is required that the external antennas be installed as high as possible.

We live in an area where cell signal strength for LTE is very poor. We have no 5G signal at all because we are a bit out of town. I mean maybe the only bar on the street about 50 meters from the house. There is no reception at all in the house and in the garage. Zero (We have a metal roof.). I bought this SureCell model for the garage. I installed it myself, removing the outdoor antennas on the roof and the indoor unit about 50 feet and placing it at the opposite end of the garage. It worked quite well for the first two weeks with 2 bars. But then the signal got worse and it eventually stopped working. So I bought an 8 foot metal post and some mounting hardware and mounted the external antennas to the post so that it would snow about 8 feet above the top of the garage roof. And of course he pointed out the cell towers from which we will receive our signals. (Not the closest one as it's behind the mountain top, but the farther one that we're getting a signal from though. I had to add an additional 10' of RG6 coax to the established 50' section to extend it higher up the rod. And I will also ground the metal rod with #10 wire. Long story short, now I have 3 bus bars and it works fantastic. You can walk around with your phone and no calls will be dropped streaming videos, movies etc We use AT&T Unlimited Elite, about $50 per line Not a bad deal you ask me, but most importantly reliable calls are working fine now.
