Review on Eagle UI-50-FS Gasoline Safety Can with Funnel, 5 gallon Capacity - Red Galvanized Steel Type I for Ultimate Protection by Tim Ram

Excellent value for money, but rest assured it will work for you

This is excellent value for money, especially when compared to flexible spout models (Type II). If you need to fill side-opening tanks (e.g. cars and trucks) you're better off with a Type II can (I like my Eagle Type II) as you usually have to insert a funnel into the opening in the tank Case. and then pour into the funnel. Type I cans like this don't have a second hole, so this stuff will squish and gurgle and maybe splatter a little if you're not pouring very carefully. Type II jars have a second opening (for filling) that opens partially when you operate the valve, allowing for a smooth, rapid flow down the spout. ideal for gas storage. Filling something with the fill point at the top works great. For me it's important to have gas in the winter, mainly for storage and not for filling, so it's perfect for my needs. I change gas twice a season and can put up with a funnel in my gear. Please note that the handle used to open the lid is plastic - I was a bit surprised but seems quite durable if you take care of it. It appears to have changed from red to yellow in recent production. If you're fed up with useless and stupid CARB certified cans, this is for you. It is federally licensed, which exempts it from CARB standards.
