I honestly love what the garland has done for my Christmas decor this year. The lights look magical amongst the leaves. I am very fickle about artificial pine, I prefer ones that look more convincing than the typical design. This one passes my requirements with flying colors; the pine branches are not the cheap paper thin type, they are plastic and look and feel like pine needles. The snowy branches are not like this, but the snow material makes them look just as nice. The pinecones and berries look really wonderful too!Out of the box, the garland is packed pretty tight, so you will have to gently remove it and stretch out the flexible rod. Be very gentle, some snow may fall off from packing, but once I got it out, it stopped coming off if I didn’t touch those branches too roughly.Make sure you fluff the garland; else it will not look as full as it should. I figured out that the lights are attached the the snowy pieces, so when you hang it and fluff it, make sure you arrange the branches so that the lights are front and center!There are three sets of lights, which can alternate or stay on depending on the mode you choose. I always go for a simple fade in and out mode, the flashing modes are always a little too much. What is really great is that it is powered by batteries, so no ugly cables, and you can hang the box behind the garland. Also, there is a timer, so the garland will turn itself off after some time, preventing drained batteries if you forgot to turn it off overnight.Overall, I am incredibly impressed with this garland, and I recommend it completely if you are looking for affordable and beautiful decor for Christmas.
