Hydraulic problem: home office chairs

As I work from home I have had to adjust by purchasing home office items. Unfortunately I bought this chair thinking it was good for the price (it was pretty cheap) but this chair does NOT last. I When I lift a chair you can sit down and literally feel like you're sinking back into the seat. Mind you, while it shouldn't matter, I'm not the type to usually make chairs heavier because I'm only 5ft 5145. I've tried to see if there's a way to fix this, but no. The only way out is to buy another chair. I do NOT recommend this chair.
