When I ordered my Halo 4 Xbox Limited Edition I have to say I didn't pay much attention to the customer reviews. What's the point? I know what an Xbox 360 is and it was very clear what I was getting. I didn't know it wasn't quite right. If I had looked at the reviews, I would have noticed that many people have constant problems with console shell cracks. Could that stop me from making a purchase? Of course not, because that can never happen to me, can it? It took me a week to receive it as it was in stock due to high demand and low quantity at the manufacturer. After you received it, you can imagine my excitement considering I paid for 1 day shipping (I really wanted it and wanted it FAST). I received it today and opened it upon delivery. Unfortunately, I also have the same problem that many have reported: RIP IN THE CONSOLE ENCLOSURE. As you can imagine I was totally and deeply disappointed by this fact as I only waited a week to receive a damaged product. It wasn't up to my standards because when I buy something brand new I expect it to be in brand new condition. When I noticed this issue, I immediately contacted Revain support via live chat to report the issue. After a very short time I received compensation for my problems and I will keep this system which contains a crack. I have never had a problem with this as Revain is second to none when it comes to customer service. The crack is small and really only noticeable when others are pointed out. I suspect this becomes such a problem because of the material it's made from, as it's a thinner plastic to keep it clear. I expect this will be a problem for anyone interested in this system for the reasons above. I have to take care of this system and take good care of it if I don't want it to crack any more. For many, that would be a deal breaker. GOOD: + The system is really nice + A unique collector's item for any Xbox or Halo fan + Excellent value for money compared to some other Xbox 360 kits BAD: - Ongoing problems with cracked cases. That will (and should) put a lot of people off - the price will never go below $350 on sale, which is too expensive for some. With such a great offer for my request I would be VERY DISAPPOINTED. I would be outraged, to say the least. When you pay $350 you expect something to be flawless. This is not Revain's fault as they did not design or manufacture this product. If you really want this system, you will get it and probably enjoy it. As I said, it really is as beautiful as the photos or videos you may have seen. But be careful, there's a good chance you'll get it with a crack. If you were lucky enough not to get a shipping crack, keep that in mind for the future as you'll need to take extra care to keep it in good condition. received in the box, it is 5 stars. If I just consider Revain's customer service, that's 5 stars. Considering this whole experience, including the cracked hull issue, it's something like 1-2 stars.
