Just got a chance to try this on a Jaguar XJR with ABS. In general it works very well. Is it better than a normal pressure pump? It depends on what you consider important. It comes well packaged with lots of adapters and can be powered from an AC adapter or directly from a 12V car battery. Instructions are ok but not great. Fortunately, the controls are pretty intuitive. Fill the bottle with clean brake fluid, connect the adapter to the hose connector and then, importantly, turn on the power with the hose in the bucket to flush the car. Surprised by the amount of dirt that came out. Connect the adapter to your vehicle, connect the drain bottle to the bleed screw, turn on the unit and follow the normal bleed sequence for your vehicle. I have found that it pushes the liquid through quickly and bubbles dissipate quickly. It goes through the liquid quickly, so prepare a few liters. The standard and main modes just seem to be higher and lower pressure settings. I'm not sure if it's more efficient than a regular relief valve. Ripple is better at removing dirt.
