I bought these to organize and store the large amount of electronic components I have. These bags are not ESD protected, but not all of the items I own require ESD protection. All my resistors, capacitors, switches, etc. can be put in it. I like bags because they are 4 mil thick. They feel as thick as Ziploc brand gallon bags. Because the parts I store in it, like resistors and capacitors, have sharp metal bits that stick out, they tend to poke through thinner packaging. This 4mm pouch seems thick enough that this doesn't happen. I used a label printer to print out labels and stick them on these bags. The labels seem to stick quite well. The price seems reasonable for 500 bags. I went through about 220 of them. You'd better have lots of small parts to save money when you buy this 500 pack!
