I have had this product for more than a year. I can't understand anyone's complaints about this. I use it for everything! Foundation, blush, cream contour, shading. It's way better than other beauty sponges I've tried. It doesn't transfer colors from the foundation to the blush etc. Yes, you need to work on removing it. I think I'll try taking it in the shower as someone else suggested. This works much better than foundation brushes. I'm not about 20 years old with perfect skin, I'm 54 and starting to age now as menopause is a consequence. So I'm not saying it's great and I have perfect skin, I'm saying it's great and it works for my aging skin. In fact, I love it so much I use the second while my other dries after cleaning.
