Review on SereneLife PICKIT21RD Red: Portable Instant Mobile Photo Printer - Wireless Color Picture Printing for Apple iPhone, iPad, Android Smartphone Camera - Mini Compact Pocket Size - Perfect for Easy Travel by Michael Nard

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Decent price, tricky WiFi connection, questionable speed claims

Compared to Canon Ivy. It's 1.5 times bigger and probably 3 times heavier. CONNECTING TO YOUR PHONE Connecting to your phone is not as easy as with Ivy. It uses a direct Wi-Fi connection and my phone has trouble connecting while the Ivy connects directly via Bluetooth. PRINT SPEED AND QUALITY Printing took 87 seconds compared to Ivy's 64 seconds. The print is larger, but it crops the top of the image (it shows you the crop line in the preview, and you can resize it and leave white space). When it prints, it prints each color, so it goes in and out of the printer three times. The print quality is better than the Ivy and the colors come out sharper and clearer. The app is pretty basic and some stickers don't come out right. CARTRIDGE The cartridge system will probably produce better images, but replacement cartridges take up more space than paper. The paper also has no sticky backing, while Ivy Paper can be peeled and stuck. CONCLUSION This is a good printer if you buy it at a reduced price from Revain stock. I don't think it's worth the full price which is only $15 less than the Canon Ivy which is better quality.

Pros
  • PICKIT MOBILE APP: To use this mobile printer, download the PICKIT app and select digital photos from movies. Make quick little edits like cropping, changing color or adding filters before sending to the iPhone printer. Create collages of multiple images or add stickers and text to bring your images to life.
Cons
  • Cable shorter than others
