I bought one of these for swimming. I had high hopes that I could use it for swimming so I didn't have to try to balance and drink at the same time. As a swimming device, it works great. I weigh over 250 pounds and it supports me with no problem. You basically put them on like a very large diaper (one side is open so it's easy to put on) but it doesn't look good. Nobody in our group wanted to try it because it looked so weird. You really do look like you're wearing a very large diaper. However, I was only able to wear them for about 20 minutes before I started putting the wedges on. The padded strap that runs under the crotch area is relatively narrow, so it puts a lot of pressure where you don't need it. I spent a lot of time adjusting it and pulling it down to relieve any unwanted pressure. I will note that I have bought a number of different floats and water saddles to use on my trip and I would say this is by far the worst. I used them, mainly because of the continuous wedge heel. None of the other floats we bought had this type of problem so I think it's a design issue. It might have worked for others, but for me it was just too much pressure in the wrong places.
