There is practically only one left-handed wireless ball mouse on the market - ELECOM M-XT4DRBK, and that's it! Nobody seems to care about left-handers anymore. i have two faces I have two workstations, one with a right-handed Logitech wireless rollerball mouse, and I love them. Due to the layout of my two desks, I use a regular left-handed wireless mouse on my left-handed desk and a Logitech rollerball on my right-handed desk. Tired of the regular mouse on the Leftie made me look for a left-handed wireless trackball mouse. Only one choice. electrocom. Everyone said the same thing - the ball sticks, twitches and the thing is basically worthless. Can you clean the ball, trade balls with Logitech, or buy a new $20 Logitech ball like some other reviewers have suggested? No way! There has to be a better answer. Every time I've used it, the mouse seems to glide well for a few strokes and then stick. When I pulled the ball out, I found tiny remnants of the ball's acrylic coating on the internal support rollers. Careful examination of the sphere and the case it sits in showed that the arc spacing of the upper circle was narrower at the top than at the bottom, causing the upper case's plastic arc to rub against the sphere and wear away the acrylic coating. Debris or worn acrylic landed on 3 small rollers inside the cavity, but it wasn't enough to make the ball sticky and jittery. I sent the first one back thinking it was a warped ball or body issue and a replacement would be better. NO! . the same thing. Now I was starting to think that the ball hole needed to be examined more closely because the tiny space between the body and the ball wasn't even from top to bottom. Removing a tiny bit of plastic from the top edge of the ball holder improved things a bit, but it still stuck at times. After 3 more recording sessions, tests and a few more procedures, I finally got everything working as smoothly as Logitech. I then returned the balls to their original owners to make sure the ball was indeed at fault. No, balls work in both blocks. It seems to me that a mouse that costs over $40 doesn't need to be repaired by the buyer for it to work properly, but that's what it takes. I've posted an image with yellow arrows showing the area that needs to be laid down slowly and carefully for everything to work smoothly. Don't cut too hard or the ball may fall out. Now you have a great left-handed wireless ball mouse!
