It's almost impossible to find cat food without fish or shellfish. Even if a brand claims a product has a restricted ingredient diet, they still add salmon oil, regardless of the diet's protein content. It's a nuisance, it's expensive, and it makes cats like mine with severe fish allergies very ill. It only takes about 5 groceries to send them to the hospital. My other two have severe grain allergies. one who will start pulling his hair out and the other will contract a yeast infection. And finally my youngest who has IBS-D (projectile poop I think). Months of searching led me to Purina Beyond Grain-free. After everyone was slowly rebooked, we had no problems at all. It's been a few years now and all four are still doing fine, we've never had a problem with this feed.
