Helps with glare and gives me some privacy. I sit in a corner of the office, but if someone walked through the door to my office, they could see everything on my screen. As I work with sensitive data, I was always concerned that my data would be shared with someone I didn't want to disclose. This filter is great! No one can see I have a filter because you don't have to mount anything, just remove the film that comes to protect the filter and stick it in the screen. If someone doesn't get behind my chair, nothing can be seen. It's just perfect. Not sure about glitter. I'm still trying to figure out if it helps with glare or not. Tried the filter outdoors. If you sit in a place where people can walk right behind you. Even if you are far away, everyone can see your screen as if you don't have a filter. Only works from side corners. So if you sit at the end of the room and your computer faces the room directly, nothing happens. Also, the computer screen gets darker, so it takes time to get used to your eyes. All in all, this is a great purchase!
